Customer Services

For any assistance please come to Customer Services located at the main entrance in close proximity to Costa Drive-Thru. We are open Monday – Saturday, between 8am & 6pm and on Sunday, between 10am & 5pm. You can also contact us on 01933 427925 or via email. (For assistance out of hours please contact the Security team on 01933 427923).

Visitor Safety

We take the safety of our visitors as a top priority, and we do not tolerate anti-social behaviour or speeding by drivers anywhere on site. We are working closely with the police to identify offenders under the Road Traffic Act for offences such as Dangerous, Careless or Inconsiderate Driving along with Drink/Drug Driving Offences. The police can also issue Section 59 Warnings for Anti-Social driving of Motor Vehicle that occur at Rushden Lakes, and we will use CCTV and ANPR data to assist with prosecutions.

Modeshift STAR

We are the first UK retail & leisure park to earn the Silver award for Modeshift STARS (Sustainable Travel Accredited and Recognised). This was achieved through strong partnership working between Savills, the onsite management team, The Crown Estate as the owners and Brightwayz social enterprise, to help plan and deliver the active travel initiatives required.

Our Facilities

Parking

Parking is free of charge however please note that we do have a 5 hour parking restriction. This includes:

· Dedicated blue badge holder bays
· Accessible bays
· Parking bays for electric-car charging

If you would like to extend your stay longer than 5 hours, please visit Customer Services (next to Costa Drive Thru) or call us on 01933 427925.

Please note that if you arrive after 5pm the free 5 hour parking restriction does not apply. Overnight parking is not permitted.

If you are planning to bring a Coach or motorhome on site please let our Customer Services team know in advance so we can book this in and direct you to the appropriate area.

Accessible Bays

Located beside the current blue badge holder parking bays, we have purple bays and these are marked with a large white ‘A’. They are intended for use by people who require extra space when getting in and out of their vehicle. For example carers with small children or wheelchair users.

Accessible bays can be found outside Accessorize, Wildwood, Fat Face, Moss Bros., Boots, M&S, Next, New Look and Frasers and in the East Terrace car park outside Cotswold Outdoor, Hobbycraft, Decathlon. There are more accessible parking bays near the West Terrace.

If you do have a blue badge, then continue to display it when you use these accessible bays the same way that you would do with a standard disabled parking bay.

Accessibility

Rushden Lakes is accessible for all and we have step free access to all stores.

We have disabled car parking spaces available for easy access to shopping and accessible toilet facilities located next to the Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre. These toilets are open between 08:00 – 20:00 seven days a week. They include full accessible facilities, including a Changing Places toilet. RADAR keys will be needed to access.

We are also proud to support the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme. We have a range of sunflower products in Customer Services for you to wear and keep should you need them.

Baby Change

Baby changing facilities are available in the customer toilets on the Boardwalk, next to the Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre. These toilets are open between 08:00 – 20:00 seven days a week. For more information please contact Customer Services on 01933 427925.

Child Safe Shopping

We are a registered Child Safe Zone. Wristbands can be picked up from Customer Services free of charge. To find out more about Child Safe please click here.

Click & Collect

Many of our stores offer free click & collect for their customers. Shop online with your favourite brands and your items will be delivered directly to the store. Enquire with stores directly for full details.

Community Notice Board

Rushden Lakes has a community notice board located on the Boardwalk managed by Rushden & Higham Ferrers Town Council. It is free for local residents, charities, community groups and businesses to use. Please bring any printed materials you would like to display into Customer Services.

Customer Toilets

Customer toilets are located next to the Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre on the Boardwalk. The toilets are open between 08:00 – 20:00 seven days a week. They include baby changing and full accessible facilities, including a Changing Places toilet. RADAR keys will be needed to access. Cycle Parking

There is ample cycle parking on site with cycle rack facilities for you to use free of charge. Cycle racks are located on the Boardwalk and on the terraces. They are marked clearly on our way finding maps too.Please note that any bicycles are left at your own risk.

Dogs & Dog Wash

Dogs are welcome here at Rushden Lakes and out into the Nene Wetlands. They must be kept on a lead at all times. Please be advised that certain stores allow dogs inside. You can find a list of dog friendly stores here. Please do not leave dogs in warm cars as it is extremely dangerous.

Please visit our self service Dog Wash located next to Canoe2. This easy to use facility is ideal for washing your muddy pooches or simply giving your pampered pet a treat. Warm water, a range of shampoos and a two speed dryer. Fun, flexible and easy to use leaving your car and home clean. Owned and operated by Polygon Pets.

WiFi

There is free WiFi available throughout the shopping centre, and some of our stores will also offer free in-store WiFi.

Wheelchair or Shop Mobility Scooter Hire

You can hire a wheelchair or a scooter from Customer Services. Free to use for up to three hours. Mobility equipment must be returned to Customer Services before 18:00 on the day of use (17:00 on Sundays). The mobility scooters have a maximum weight restriction of 18 stone. Weight exceeding 18 stone will void any warranties and insurances. For more information please contact Customer Services on 01933 427925.

EV Charging

We have EV charging bays powered and managed by POD Point at various locations in the car park. You can identify these on the store map here. Overnight parking is not permitted.

Mobile phone & device charging

We have USB charging points located on the sides of our benches in Garden Square. They are free to use however please note you will need your own charging lead.

Filming and photography

Members of the public are allowed to take photographs around the site with a small digital camera/mobile phone for personal use only. To take photographs of shop interiors and exteriors, permission must also be sought from the retailer. Photography/filming/sketching of the building’s infrastructure or Rushden Lakes staff is not permitted. Prior permission should also be sought to use photography in a commercial sense (e.g. social media, influencers, websites, brochures, adverts etc.) and to use specialist equipment (e.g. drones, tripods etc.).
