Rushden Rangers – Beaver Special!

16th April

Rushden has got some gnawingly nice new neighbours now that a family of beavers have moved in and are making the lakes their home. Boudica & Alan and their kits are the first beavers in Northamptonshire for over 400 years!

Come down and Get River Positive with the Rushden Rangers as we celebrate natures ingenious engineers. We’ll find out what changes the beavers will bring to the Lakes, and learn about other beasts they share the water with.

Join the Rushden Rangers for nature inspired interactive fun. There are 4 pre-bookable sessions; 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm on Wednesday 16th April.

Join us at the designated meeting point near the entrance to the Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre. From here, families will be led by the Rangers on themed educational activity trails near the lake.

During the school holidays, Rushden Lakes car park can get very busy. We will do our best to accommodate late comers but please allow plenty of time to find a parking space and arrive for your booked slot.
