Rushden Lakes is excited to launch our Charity of the Year initiative! For the first time we’re looking to partner with a local charity to provide support and raise awareness for the vital work they do in our community. We believe in giving back and are passionate about supporting organisations that make a real difference.
This exciting new program will offer our chosen charity partner a range of benefits throughout the year, from May 2025 to March 2026 (free of charge). These benefits include:
- Enhanced Visibility:
Social media support across Rushden Lakes’ channels
Promotion to our retailers and customers
A dedicated page on the Rushden Lakes website
Onsite advertising opportunities (x4 ads per year)
Promotion of your charity to our wider network and stakeholders - Fundraising Opportunities:
Collection box at Customer Services
Opportunity to book prime outdoor event space (up to 4 dates per year) to promote the charity and fundraise
Use of Rushden Lakes community sheds
Opportunity to raise additional funds generated through centre events
Invitation to attend centre events e.g. Community events/Family Fun Days
Invitation to attend our Recruit Rushden Jobs Fair to support with recruitment - Volunteer support & staff perks:
The Centre Management team pledge to use their volunteer hours with your charity
Access to centre discounts for up to 4 members of staff

If your charity is interested in becoming Rushden Lakes’ first Charity of the Year and you are located in Northamptonshire, we encourage you to apply! Key Dates:
- Application Deadline: 5pm, 5th March 2025. Unfortunately no applications will be considered after this time.
- Initial Meeting: Shortlisted charities will be invited to Rushden Lakes for an informal chat on Tuesday 19th March.
- Final Presentation: The final shortlist, made up of 3 charities, will be invited to present on Tuesday 16th April.
